Lake Winnibigoshish spans over 60,000 acres with an average depth of 15 feet. Unique in it’s own way, 95% of the shorelines are undeveloped. It consists of broad cabbage-weed lines, long deepwater sand bars, and shallow weed beds with the Mississippi River channel flowing through the middle.

The view from Bowen's lake cabins on the North Shore of Big Winnie truly is the best of Northern Minnesota . |

There's a lot to love about fishing on Lake Winnie! One of the top Walleye fishing lakes in the country, Winnibigosh has Walleye, Jumbo Perch, Northern Pike, Musky, Bass and even panfish.
Big enough to provide lots of fishing opportunities, small enough so most everyone can get out on the lake.
