Bob Heig was known and loved by Bowen Lodge guests, Lake Winnie resort owners and all of the Deer River area guides. In fact, everyone loved Bob except the "Winnie Walleyes".
Join us in rembering him by fishing with us in the Bob Heig Memorial Couples Fishing Contest every August.

Bob Heig Memorial Couples Fishing Contest Winners Kris & Annette Lentz of Manchester Iowa with a walleye weight of 7.39 pounds. Kris & Annette flat out showed up with victory in their eyes. They had the smallest boat of the tournament, the least experience on the Lake, but the biggest victory in their eyes. Hats off to a great victory!
